Al l paintings are hand painted in oil on gallery wrapped canvas or panel so that you can hang as it comes, and get it framed at some point if you choose. These are custom portraits, not the digitally reproduced and varnished prints you see around the internet!

Prices for 2010 are as follows:

6×6 (panel) or 5×7 (panel) $50.00 head only, $65 full body
8×10 $80.00 head only, $100 full body
9×12 $95.00 head only, $115 full body
11×14 $110.00 head only, $135 full body
12×16 $130.00 head only; $155 full body
14×18 $170.00
16×20 $185.00
18×24 $200.00

Add $25 for each additional pet in the painting or detailed background.

Shipping charges are extra and depend upon the size of the painting.

Digital photos accepted (by email or on CD); hard copy photos will be returned to you.

I will need one photo of your chosen pose, as well as 3 or 4 additional photos that clearly show the animal’s colors (especially eye color).

IMPORTANT: To obtain usable photos:

Photograph your pet from down at their eye level. If they are looking up at the camera it makes them look distorted.

Photograph outdoors in light shade, or by a window. Bright sun and flash wash out the colors and make hard shadows.

After submitting your order, we will talk about your relationship with your pet so that I can get some sense of their personality.

A 50% deposit is required to begin the painting. At the completion of the artwork, I will email you a photo and upon your acceptance, and receipt of the balance due, I will ship the painting to you. Payment is accepted through Paypal or personal check.

Please allow 4-5 weeks for completion of your pet portrait. It may be sooner, but it depends upon the wait list at the time you place your order.
